I uploaded my pictures to Flickr, first. All buttons go to the relevant home page for the button name. The style of link is controlled by the Sandvox Design. I am currently using 'Simple Gray' which has dashed underlines but they will look different in other Designs.
What I did:
1. Added a Rich Text page and deleted the default text:
Sandvox: Site > Add Page > Rich Text
2. With the 'eye-beam' still in the text, centre aligned the paragraph:
Sandvox: Format > Alignment > Center
3. Drag and drop an image into the text area of the page. Update: add all the images at one using the Media browser, see Update: below.
4. De-select the image (see Problem: below). I did this by added a few spaces after each image before adding the next image.
5. Repeat step #3 and #4
I manually created a new line (Return key) after 6 thumbnails in this example.
The thumbnails are the Flickr 75px by 75px size image.
5. In Safari, I went to each photo in turn and opened each link in a new tab (Command+Clicked each Flickr thumbnail in Safari).
6. With the appropriate page displaying in Safari, I went to Sandvox and selected the thumbnail of the image on Flickr.
7. I pressed Command+L to add a link to the image:
Sandvox: Edit > Create Link.
With the link displayed in Safari, the link is automatically added to the Link dialog in Sandvox. Try it, it's magic.
Problem:
[Update: dragging multiple images from the Finder into Sandvox is no longer a problem as of Sandvox 1.6]
At Step #3 Sandvox often creates a Photo Pagelet instead of adding the image to the text area. I have record a quick screencast showing how to try and avoid this, basically, make sure that the image just copied into the text area is de-selected (not blue) before copying the next image [Update: currently not online - sorry]
Update:
The folder of photos can be added via the iMedia Browser:
Sandvox: Window > Show Media. I recorded a screencast of how to do this [Update: currently not online - sorry]
I found this out whilst doing this experiment.
Tip:
Once a link has been added to an image it can be tricky to select. A quick way to move the 'eye-beam' through the images in the text area is to use the left and right arrows keys. Press Shift+Left/Right Arrow the select the image. Then use Command+L to open the link dialog or tap Delete to remove the image.

I made the buttons with names on with [Art Text 2].
As a comparison for myself, I tried this same experiment using Shutterbug. This is the same image experiment [done with Shutterbug].
Shutterbug is a website creator made by [xtralean software].
