Navigation - Alternatives to the Site Menu Bar

On certain Sandvox designs, when looked at using Internet Explorer 6 or 7 with the Text Size set in the browser to 'Largest', it is possible to have links on the site navigation disappear off the end of the navigation menu bar. This means that a whole section of an affected site become 'invisible'.

Three alternative site navigation methods jump to mind.

1. Collection Index Navigation
Add a 'Collection Index' pagelet and choose the sites Home Page as the source:
Site > Add Pagelet > Collection Index
Drag the Target to the Site's Home Page

The result is seen on the right--->

2. Text Links Navigation Bar on Page
Add a Text list of the site's sections to the bottom of the page and link each word to its appropriate section.

3. Text Links Navigation in a Pagelet
Do the same as #2 but use a Rich Text pagelet.

The big disadvantage of manually created links in Sandvox is that they break i.e. the page they relate to is deleted and nothing tells you there are broken links.
