Please note: You do NOT need Sandvox Pro to Add Disqus comments from Sandvox 1.6 onwards. You DO NEED to create a Disqus account first.
How To Add:
Use Sandvox 1.6 (9603) onwards. Set Disqus Weblog Comments using the
Inspector > Properties > Weblog Comments > Disqus
I used just the Disqus "shortname" not "shortname.disqus.com" to make this work.
When Published - The Collection page shows '0 Comments' not 'View Comments'. If you see 'View Comments', your 'Site's short name:' in the Sandvox Inspector is wrong.

I have remove my how to manually add Disqus comments because I am sick of the spam from the Disqus commenting system and what appear to be human spammers.
Notes from manually adding Disqus Comments prior to SV1.6:
- Manually adding Disqus Generic Code is a more involved process and needs some manual HTML code editing on *every* page
- Manually adding Disqus requires Sandvox Pro.
- Manually added Disqus comments cause the comments boxes appear on the Collection's Index page (Click link and scroll down to see blog Post Three. The Disqus comment box is showing through from the post page and is confusing.)
- To hide the Disqus blog comments from showing on to the parent Collection (index.html) page, I used the -->Truncate text: option in the Inspector for the HowTo Collection Page. A custom summary did not stop the Disqus comment box from showing.
- It's worth having a plain text file with the Code Snippets to copy and paste into each page.
