Collection Index Pagelet - Navigation

The Collection Index pagelet is a very useful aid to add structure and navigation to a site. It creates a sidebar of links that are relative to the Collection it is connected to and the list of pages automatically updates as pages are added or removed from the Collection.

I have used them to change a one-level site which uses the top navigation bar (see side panel) as the way to go from one page to the next into a multi-level site with localised Collection links.

I did this: Create 'Summaries Collections' pages containing 'Rich Text' pages and sometimes also further 'Summaries Collections'. The Summaries have Collection Archive pagelets added. This way a Summaries Collection inside another Summaries collection will have two Collection Index pagelets such as on the Classes section.

The Multi-Level Site:

The original site is currently using the restructured site:

Notes:

I changed the email text address used on the original site into a graphic to reduce the chance of spam-bots collecting the address. I did this by typing the address in TextEdit and doing a screengrab of the address.
See [HowTo - TextEdit Used to Create a Text Graphic] for more.

The QuickTime movie is a link to the movie's URL on the original site. This doesn't work from my site, possibly a security setting again 'hot-links' by the original site's host.
